Last week Department of Education and Early Learning staff Cameron Clark, Monica Liang-Aguirre, Bill Sanders and Debra Kinsey had the opportunity to tour Causey’s Learning Center. Causey’s has been a Seattle Preschool Program provider since the beginning of the Seattle Preschool Program and last year they received a $108,000 capital improvement grant from the Seattle Preschool Program Levy to improve and expand their facilities.

The remodel will create two additional classrooms for the 2017-18 school year and also included improving the layout, adding a bathroom and expanding the kitchen space.

The renovated preschool includes more meal and snack preparation space.

Next year Causey’s Learning Center will operate 5 Seattle Preschool Program  classrooms in the Central District.
