Applications Now Open for Seattle Youth Safety Ambassadors Mental Health and Community Safety Peer Outreach Opportunity

The Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL) and Seattle Human Services Department (HSD) are proud to announce the Seattle Youth Safety Ambassadors (YSA) peer leadership program for the 2025-26 school year. YSA is a youth-led awareness initiative designed to promote safety, wellness, and services available in Seattle schools and surrounding communities. YSA will serve as resource connectors, community outreach leaders, and peer educators, bridging the gap between City-provided mental health and safety services and youth who need them the most.
